Together we can plan your flight training program, ground theory lessons and pre-examination study. We provide individual and classroom based flight theory sessions so you learn in the method most effective for your learning style. In group sessions you get to interact with other students and pilots on the same journey as yourself. You will be part of a friendly aviation community that will help and support you through your learning to fly journey and beyond. Goolwa Airport (YGWA) is located on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula near the historic town of Goolwa and not far from Adelaide. The scenery is awesome and encompasses Victor Harbor, Inman Valley, the Southern Mt. Lofty Ranges, the Murray Mouth, the Coorong, and the Great Lakes (Alexandrina and Albert). The Airport is privately owned and controlled which gives us a relaxed, yet a safe and controlled environment in which to learn.
Adelaide's whale watching season is from mid May to October (started early this year 2013) and they are often sighted off the coastline from Victor Harbor to the Murray Mouth and every where in between - so if this excites you, there is another good reason to come for a fly soon - remember to bring your camera. If you are after a joy flight, this is much more than that. We offer Trial Instructional Flights (TIF) where you get to take control of the aircraft and fly it yourself.
